The last meeting was a great success again! Thanks to everyone who came out and we hope those who needed help with repairs got it. Jeremy Quijano was there with his camera equipment and took pictures of almost everyone at the co-op with their bicycles. You can see the rest of the photos here.

The next co-op meeting will still be at Transitions Art Gallery on January 5th. We will be making an announcement for when the space is ready and will keep everyone posted on when the meetings will be held there.

The next critical mass is December 26th. Close to the holidays, but try and make it out. It’ll be a beautiful ride.

There is also a ride this Friday the 5th for Frankie who was struck and killed by a car a few weeks ago.

Ride for Awareness!!

• Friday, December 5 at 3:30pm (leave around 4)
• Meet at the Marshall Center Loop at USF Tampa
• Group ride surrounding campus for bike awareness.

It’s early in the day, but it’s best held under daylight, for obvious reasons. Hope you can make it.

Bicycle Bash by the Bay is this coming Sunday, 10/19 and we need YOUR help. We need people to work the table and a few to run workshops. Tabling will include selling T-Shirts and anything else we might have, educating the public about the co-op and our goals, recruiting volunteers, etc. There is a morning shift which is 10-1 and a noon shift that is 1-4. We are also having two workshops, one at 11:30 and one at 2:30. The workshops are earmarked for bicycle repair and should be as simple as possible. If you would like to teach a workshop or work the table, please get in touch at: tampabaybikecoop@gmail.com

The event takes place at Vinoy Park in St. Pete, so if you would like to car-pool we will be meeting at Transitions Art Gallery around 9:15am and leaving at 9:30. Volunteers will recieve one of our new t-shirts FREE for your efforts.
